Untamed: Walk into the Wild

Untamed: Walk into the Wild presents two renowned Philadelphia artists: Leah Macdonald and Susan Beard. Leah and Susan have been pushing the boundaries of photography with their talented use of encaustics, a process using organic beeswax and paint derived from the ancient Greeks. The results are awe-inspiring.

Horses are the main subject of Leah’s collection, and her love for these amazing creatures is acutely channeled into showing us their limitless majestic beauty. Susan’s focus is on her travels to the Serengeti. She has exquisitely captured the sublime grandeur of the terrain and wildlife that roam the region.

The gallery will also be hosting an Encaustics Workshop with these two fabulous artists on November 18 where you can learn from the best on how to make your own encaustic painting. Tickets are required and can be purchased here.
